"where eating can be your good deed for the day"

I had heard about Cafe 458, but I drove past it the other day. It is really a great example of an effective way of assisting the homeless. They act as a food kitchen (restaurant) that the attendees have to be nominated by a social service organization. They get a balanced meal served with dignity. The restaurant also has resume and job placement services as well as acting as an address for the homeless (this is necessary for getting a driver's license or any form of ID).
